The Wisteria has run up the rock face, along side the gentle run of the water fall. White flowering fronds hang from wisteria branches, looking just like a water fall itself. Beautiful. The pink, purple and white Cosmos are blooming as well. I do believe the sun will be shining this weekend. Because of all the rains the gardens are lush with the peony buds ready to burst…tomorrow?, Sunday? Mix peonies, climbing roses and coral bells into a gorgeous bouquet, quite long lasting with a lovely scent.
The morning sun floods the hammocks with a welcoming warmth, a picture of rest and relaxation, a time to float and laze in timelessness. Between the branches of the weeping willows, the clear blue sky fortells the awesome day ahead. Come take this delightful opportunity in. See you soon.
Numerous yellow finches have returned and are sharing their left overs with the pine siskins and the thrush. Soon we’ll be putting up another bird feeder which will draw different varieties. In our back yard a couple of red headed wood peckers have been finding morsels in the bark of a douglas fir tree, towering high above our meadows. Each morning a choir of song awakens us. Yes, spring is near done beckoning summer to make it’s grand entry…at last!
