Harrison Hot Springs Rain Comfort

December 10th, 2010

Yes, that’s me!  Jacquie!  I’ve just finished a delicious run in wettest downpour I’ve experienced for a couple of months.  The weather is an invitation to creativity, hope and delight.  Check our South Garden B&B’s Rain Site for ideas and an invitation you won’t be able to resist.  After all the Outdoor Mountain Hot Tub calls for a relaxing soak in the rain…or snow (even better).  PS.  Umbrellas and hairdryers are available in each suite.

Harrison Hot Springs Spa

December 9th, 2010

Imagine…imagine.  It’s 10:30 pm.  Just before bed we dip into the outdoor hot tub, reminiscing about the day, relaxing.  Suddenly we hear a soft russle of feathers.  There before us on the arbor is a beautiful, white with speckles, 45 cm tall, owl  only 3 feet away.  This is a sacred moment in the stillness of the evening.  Our gentle friend stayed with us for about 10 minutes and then flew off with hardly a sound.  When we remember our encounter with the wise old owl, my husband and I are still in awe.

South Garden B&B

Yes, it’s snowing here in Harrison.  This means the weather has begun to warm.  The winds have died down and winter for the time being is embracing us.  This is one of the most wonderful times to be basking in the outdoor hot tub.
